Producing natural, timeless images in the comfort of your own home, or outside in your garden or countryside. It's incredibly fulfilling when I'm able to capture spontaneous moments that turn into timeless soulful Art. Having the most genuine snapshots of your children laughing, playing, pulling funny faces, or being totally chaotic during a significant time in one's life is precious, as these real life moments will be forever etched in your photo albums.

The magic of the mundane; making tea, reading a book on the rug, or muddy boots splashing in puddles will hold more memory than a coloured backdrop for stiff poses or forced smiles.

Whilst I'm very happy to take formal photos when required, I thoroughly enjoy looking for the wild, beautiful poetry of your family exactly as you are. The unscripted chaos of children running through long grass, and the tender, fleeting glances that usually happen when no one is looking!

When we shoot together, there is no pressure to perform. I will ease in and follow, letting life unfold. If we venture into a sun-drenched garden or the open countryside, I will let the gentle breeze and the horizon do the work. If you have any particular shots in mind just let me know.

I have a memory; A pristine fragment of my childhood remains preserved in amber: the quiet thrill of slipping unnoticed into my mother's shadowed attic. With eager sticky fingers, I unearthed a forgotten photo album buried deep within the womb of a heavy wooden chest. Fast forward to the present day, and time has unfolded back on itself. I discovered my own grown-up children caught in that exact same ritual of discovery. They had unearthed their grandmother's heirloom from among a sea of keepsakes. The album's dark brown leather binding is now beautifully fractured, its edges softened and roughened by decades of tender handling, releasing a nostalgic, velvety aroma of aged paper and settling dust into the quiet room.

I very much look forward to hearing from you.

Stepping through the threshold of that cherished village bakery filled with a symphony of warm, yeasty aromas and spun-sugar sweetness that envelopes the senses.

Golden loaves rested in sunlit rows beside velvety cream pastries and glazed confections. It's a fabulous tableau crafted for life’s quiet and grand celebrations alike.

Today, that profound alchemy remains unchanged; a single, evocative photograph must capture this sensory magic, whispering a siren song that beckons the soul across the threshold.

I continue to look at how to raise one's brand photographically, bringing depth and colour to food and wine, through sharp focus, rich lighting, and artful styling that will turn a simple plate into a sensory masterpiece. It's creating an image that will make your taste buds explode!

Tangy, vibrant citrus notes sparkle in sharp focus against the deep, earthy char of a chargrilled steak. A crisp pale condensation beads on the stem of a chilled glass, promising a sharp, zesty burst of dry white wine.

Flipping through the heavy pages, I drifted past the monochrome gazes of long-forgotten ancestors, pulled forward by an invisible current. Near the end of the collection, my breath caught a faded, sepia-toned window into the Summer of 1964. There, frozen in a moment of perpetual warmth, a young man laughed mid-stride across a sunlit pier, his hand extended toward the lens as if reaching across time itself. His eyes held a luminous spark of pure, unbothered, unadulterated joy. It was my uncle, his vibrant ginger hair and freckled nose radiant against the coastal haze.

Decades have since dissolved into the sea. In January 1978, amidst the howling fury of a severe winter storm, the sea claimed its tribute, tearing away the pier's middle section and leaving the distant pier head marooned like a lonely island in the surf. It was a structure once celebrated for its grand, sweeping length—evolving from a rustic wooden deep-sea landing stage into an iconic recreational iron pier complete with its own humming electric tramway—before the relentless elements ultimately fractured its spine and reduced its majestic silhouette to a haunting whisper of the past.

A few years ago I travelled to the coast taking photos of my youngest daughter with the same pier in the distance, and as luck would have it, lightning struck at the precise moment I took the picture. There's nothing quite like capturing photos that really do paint a thousand words.

The salt-heavy wind filtered through her curly hair, whispering secrets of the deep as I stood back snapping merrily away, much to my disgruntled daughter! Out in the grey gloom of the horizon, the old iron pier stretched its skeletal fingers into the restless sea, it was a lonely monument swallowed by the coming storm.

A flash of silver, a shutter's click, a moment stolen from the quick. The laughter traps within the square, the sunlight frozen in your hair. The pages turn, the years grow old, the edges fray, the colour holds. Though time may steal the breath away, this paper frame commands the day. No dust can dim, no shadow fade, the quiet magic that we made. A permanent and sacred view, forever etched, alive, and you.
